This communication connectors is used at end of an open track, and is equipped with Sercos and SFO connectors. This plugable connector is made to interconnect long stator segments on open tracks. It is equipped with M12 connectors. It relays the communication (Sercos) and the safety function SFO (Safe Force Off) between a track and the motion controller. The SFO and sercos signals are distributed from segment to segment via the this communication interconnect. It weighs 0.1kg. This modular system is for machine applications and consists of long stator motors, on which multiple carrier units can be moved independently from each other.
