Heavy Duty Safety Switches are utized from commercial and institutional to industrial and manufacturing facilities. F Series safety switches provide significantly higher levels of mechanical endurance than NEMA Type KS-1 or UL98 standards require. The design life of a F-Series switch is a minimum of three times the NEMA requirement. An abundance of copper is used in the heaviest current carrying power paths of all Square D by Schneider Electric Heavy Duty Safety Switches. The more copper for current carrying paths, the lower the temperature rise. Managing temperatures inside the switch is the key to providing greater service life. This heavy duty Single Throw Safety Switch has a rated current of 30A and has a NEMA 4X degree of protection. This non-fusible disconnect has a short circuit rating of 200kA@600VAC. This safety switch has a fiberglass reinforced polyester enclosure and is surface mounted. This product os compatable with H or K, R, J or L fuses. The acceptable AWG gauge for this product is AWG 12 / AWG 6, aluminiumand has a tightening torque of 45-45 lbf.in. This product complys to UL listed file E2875 standards and comes with an 18 month warranty. Dimensions for this product are 16.5 in (H), 11 in (W), 8.8 in (D).
