This communication module is part of the Modicon M171/M172/M173 range, a control offer for HVAC/Pumping applications. This optional module provides a specific connection to the Modbus TCP, Ethernet, and BACnet IP buses. It has two screw terminal blocks as a communication port. This communication module allows controllers to get an additional communication port. It is certified by CE, CSA, cURus, and EAC. It is compatible with M172 Optimized and M171 Performance logic controllers. It is sold in a 1-piece package. It is mounted by simply interlocking on the left-hand side of M171 Performance or M172 logic controllers. Modicon M171/M172/M173 controllers are designed for complete automation solutions for HVAC and Pumping machines.
