This product is part of the Modicon TM7, an IP67 modular I/O system. It is a Discrete I/O expansion block. This discrete I/O block provides 16 discrete inputs (24V DC) with sink discrete input logic and 16 Transistor/Source outputs (24V DC). This discrete I/O block is used in remote I/O configuration or in distributed I/O islands on the CANopen bus. The 16 discrete inputs or inputs are configurable by software. The IO connection is made with 3-way female M8 connector with 1 channel per connector. The bus expansion cable is connected on 2X M12 (IN/OUT) 4-way connector. It is made with platic, with an IP67 rated level, and weighs 0.32kg. This IP67 protection I/O block has been developed to create flexible, scalable I/O configurations for automation solutions in harsh environments. This product is certified by C-Tick, ATEX II 3g EEx nA II T5, cURus, GOST-R, and IEC 61131-2, and marked CE. This I/O block is compatible with TM7 I/O expansion bus, TM7 bus expansion cable, and with Modicon M2xx plcs, and Modicon TM5 I/O modular system. It instals in any position with 2 screws. Modicon TM7 is an IP67 distributed I/O system. Modicon TM7 I/O system is flexible and scalable, and designed to work in harsh environment.
