This shunt trip unit for PowerPacT M-, P-, or R-Frame circuit breakers is one of the field installable accessories available. The shunt trip option allows tripping the circuit breaker from a remote location by means of a trip coil energized from a separate supply voltage circuit. When energized, the shunt trip instantaneously opens the circuit breaker. This shunt trip unit requires 208 to 277VAC supply voltage source. This accessory complies with UL standards.
