When working in wet environments, use Bridgeport's 435-NMLT 2" Nonmetallic Liquid Tight Straight Connectors to join nonmetallic "Type B" liquid tight conduit to an electrical box or enclosure. Nylon fittings are sunlight resistant, lightweight, durable and easy to install. To do so, simply slide the compression nut and inner sealing ring over the nonmetallic conduit before threading the ferrule directly into the conduit channel. Then, insert the conduit into the connector, tighten the compression nut to secure the conduit in place, and secure the fitting to a box knockout using the provided locknut. Once installed, the connector's NPT threads, knockout gasket and inner sealing ring ensures a liquid tight connection between the conduit and electrical box or enclosure. Bridgeport nonmetallic liquid tight straight connectors are available in trade sizes 3/8" to 2". All are UL-Listed under File No. E9391, NEMA TYPE 2, 3, 3R, 4, 4X and 12, and meet the NEC requirements for use in wet locations.
