Scotch Rubber Splicing Tape 23 is a 30-mil, conformable, self-fusing Ethylene Propylene Rubber (EPR) based, high-voltage splicing tape. It is a non-vulcanizing and shelf-stable tape with excellent electrical properties that can be used as an insulation for low voltage applications and for splices up to 69,000 volts (69kV). The tape is split, crack, slip and flag resistant when exposed to various environments (indoor or outdoor). It is compatible with synthetic cable insulations.

    • Operating temperatures up to 194F (90C) and emergency overload temperature up to 266F (130C)
    • The special polyester liner will not stick to the tape upon unwind, protects tape during application
    • Can be as primary insulation for building stress cones on cables up to 35 kV for solid dielectric cable
    • Compatible with all solid dielectric cable insulation like polyethylene, Butyl Rubber, PVC & more
