This RS485 shielded cable is used to connect 2 safe communication expansion modules. It is designed to link two safe communication modules, in order to create decentralized cabinets of remote IO. This cable figures 2 pairs of twisted conductors with shielding with flying lead connection. RS485 serial interface shielded cables are used between the Bus expansion communication modules to create up to six decentralized safety-related islands with a maximum of 50 meters between each island.
