PowerPacT B-Frame automatic switches are a disconnect device and can be used to open and close a circuit under normal operating conditions. The automatic switches are similar in construction to, use the same accessories, and offer the same connection possibilities as the B-Frame circuit breaker version. The switches have a factory set, nonadjustable trip point calibrated to protect the molded case switch. The automatic switch can make and break its rated current. This unit features EverLink lugs, a patented design to reduce loosening of cables over time, on both termination ends. This PowerPacT B, 125A, 3 pole, automatic switch has a short circuit withstand current rating of 18kA at 600VAC. PowerPacT B automatic switches comply to UL and CSA standards. The switch includes a factory-set, nonadjustable magnetic trip point that activates during short-circuit conditions to protect the switch itself.
