This product is part of the Modicon TM5 range, an High-Performance and Safe IP20 Modular I/O System. This counter module provides 1 HSC incremental input. It has 2x 24VDC RS422 sink auxiliary inputs, Its counting frequency is 4MHz per channel. This counter module is specifically designed to operate on the sercos bus, using the Sercos Bus Interface Module. There is an insulation between channel and bus at 500Vrms AC and no insulation between channels. The maximum cycle time is 2ms and counter input resolution is 16bit/32bit.
