This device is an optional module for advanced meter that provide fiber optic SC-duplex connectivity, converted from the onboard Ethernet port. The Fiber-Ethernet option module can further increase our Advanced Meters flexibility by adding an additional communication port. Provides isolated data transmission through fiber optics up to the length of 2000 m. The module is directly powered from the base meter. This module enables data transfer through fiber optics medium, and offer reliable, and insulated data transmission. It supports multi-mode 100BASE-FX technology and requires SC duplex connector input. Only 1 Fiber-Ethernet module is supported per meter. The dimensions are 22 mm in width, 100.2 mm in height 100.2 mm, 90.5mm in depth 90.5 mm and 102.33 g in weight: 102.33 g. This module hooks itself up to the meter's option bus which has a capacity of maximum one fiber-Ethernet module plus 3 other options. It is connected to the base meter with the help of Ethernet patch cable which is included in the module packaging. Single unit in the packet. Compatible with PowerLogic Advanced Metering range (ION7400, PM8000, and ION9000).
