Type L multipole lighting contactors are use to manage lighting loads and to control electrical heating. 8903L lighting contactors are available in either mechanically held or electrically held versions. This is a mechanically held device. Contacts can switch up to 30A fluorescent and 20A tungsten lighting loads. The contacts are field convertible from normally open to normally closed. This 4 pole device has 4 normally open contacts. Replacement contact kits are available for this lighting contactor. Interchangeable coil is available in a wide variety of common voltages up to 600 VAC. Contactor is supplied with a 110/120 VAC 50/60 Hz coil. A painted sheet steel NEMA 1 general purpose enclosure is used to protect this lighting contactor. Enclosure is 12.69 inches tall, 7.81 inches wide and 6.03 inches deep. A wide variety of accessories are available for Type L lighting contactors. This lighting contactor is supplied with a HAND/OFF/AUTO selector switch and an additional two pole relay. 8903L lighting contactors are UL Listed and CSA Certified.
