Mayer’s Birmingham Locations Recognized as a Best Place to Work
Mayer Electric Supply was once again recently recognized as one of the Best Places to Work by Birmingham Business Journal. In addition, the Mayer team present at the awards luncheon walked away with the Spirit Award, an award given to the company in attendance that exhibits the most team spirit and enthusiasm.
The theme that Mayer chose for the spirit competition was to be very “Happy.” A video was created showing how happy the associates are at their job linked here . All of the associates were smiling, waving, and dancing around while the song “Happy” by Pharrell Williams was playing in the background. At the Best Places to Work awards luncheon some of the associates danced while handing out candy, demonstrating to the judges and the hundreds in attendance the happy spirit they have to be working for Mayer.
The Best Places to Work award is based on the response to surveys that are taken by associates about their overall satisfaction working for the company. It is a great honor for Mayer to be recognized as a best place to work and it is important for the company to continue to attract the best and brightest associates by focusing on the strengths and weakness pointed out to management from the results of the survey.The topics of The Best Places to Work survey include workplace satisfaction, compensation, career growth and challenge, and company management.
